The Borrowed Life (2026)

In her screen comeback, Ella Cruz stars as a young woman who uses a magical or advanced beauty filter app to transform her appearance and become conventionally pretty in real life. She does this primarily to make a lasting impression on her crush. However, as genuine feelings start to develop and things grow more serious, the fragile, artificial illusion of her "borrowed look" begins to crumble, forcing her to confront reality and her true self.
